Welcome D2R2 Riders

Thanks for joining us on the Franklin Land Trust's D2R2 Blog spot.

Feel free to use this forum to ask other riders about D2R2, post tips for next year, and discuss past and future D2R2 rides.

You may also feel free to ask staff about the surrounding area, land projects, or general information about what the land trust does.

D2R2 has it's own BLOG!

I'm still recovering from this year, but I'm looking forward to 2010.

Thank you Franklin Land Trust for all that you do to make Franklin County, MA the best place on earth to ride a bicycle.

Rest assured – the land trust staff is still recovering from D2R2 as well,
but hoping to make 2010 a year to remember!

In the mean time, we will keep on working to make this little corner
of western MA a beautiful place for all you riders out there!

Sure is a beautiful area. If not for D2R2, I might have never come to find this out. This dirt road mecca makes puts my home turf (Ottawa, ON) to shame...and its pretty darn nice here. I'm already looking forward to 2010.

2010 D2R2 is coming fast. I love this event and the people who support it are great. I did the 100K in 08 and 09. Trying the 180K this year. Can you imagine the year we do this in the rain?

Rain could be beautiful. You get just the right amount and all the dirt firms up and the roads get 'buttery,' as we like to say up here in Ottawa. Today's 32 degree celcius ride was just the opposite: dust and washboard. I can't wait for what this year's D2R2 brings. If you spot our group of Tall Tree Cycles/Steelwool Bicycle Co. riders in green kit, say hi!
